Behaviour Mentor

A Behaviour Mentor is required to work with a Special Needs Student with SEMH needs in a primary school in High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will be passionate, hard-working, and committed to developing their skills and career.
The Behaviour Mentor will work closely with the Inclusion Manager and will be responsible for providing individual support to the student. The role is a long-term position and requires a strong, determined, and driven individual who is looking to make a positive impact.
The school offers a supportive and welcoming environment, with opportunities for training and development. The Behaviour Mentor will have the chance to work with a KS1 student and contribute to their educational and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual support to the student with SEMH needs
- Work closely with the Inclusion Manager to develop and implement strategies to support the student
- Contribute to the student's educational and personal growth
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
