Support Worker

We have a variety of working days/times (shifts available from 7am - 7am Mon - Sun) working across both our Children and Younger Persons and Older Adults Care Teams. The work is varied and a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to someone's life.
We have vacancies with immediate start (once necessary training and checks have been completed) in and around BUXTON, NEW MILLS, CHAPEL-EN-LE-FRITH, GLOSSOP.
We have a variety of different types of client needs, including daily pop in calls, social support sessions, overnight sessions and working in Supported Living settings. Our clients may require assistance in a number of different ways, for example; personal care, administration of medication, moving & handling, social support, behaviour support and lots more
We provide all training and mentoring so you don't need to have previous experience in care (although any type of experience whether it's work or personal of a caring nature is an advantage).
The training is exstensive and is paid for by us (you're paid for your time too), along with your enhanced DBS, a Blue Light Card and a welcome bonus applicable to new starters (terms apply). Travel time and mileage (payable at 0.45p per mile) is applicable to some of our clients.
We are offering bank and permanent positions.
**Due to the nature of the role and our clients needs it is essential**:
- that you have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle that you can use for the purposes of work. (Connex do not have pool vehicles)**
**- have the right to work in the UK and do not require Sponsorship.**
**- you live within a reasonable commutable distance of Buxton. We do not offer any relocation packages.**
