We are recruiting for an experienced and compassionate leader to join us as our Operational Lead for Mental Health Support Teams (MHST) Service, which is part of our Getting Help offer in Buckinghamshire CAMHS. This is a full time role based at Saffron House in High Wycombe, with hybrid working.
You would be joining a well established team, with robust systems in place and a supportive wider leadership team to work alongside. You'll work with a wider management team of collaborative operational leads who are responsible for a number of CAMHS teams and support each other in service delivery.

Main duties of the job
Overall management responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operational matters for the Mental Health Support Teams Work as an integral member of service’s leadership team to deliver a high-quality responsive service to meet the needs of children and young people in Buckinghamshire. Work towards a culture where services are seamlessly integrated.Put in place and monitor arrangements for partnership working across the localities, with particular emphasis on developing strong relationships with MHST schools Work closely alongside the Operational Lead for the Targeted service, to ensure that services meeting the needs of CYP and that we are making the best use of available resources, through co-ordinating the offer. This will include cross cover as necessary to support the smooth running of both services. Work with the Lead Clinician for the service to ensure that clinical delivery is effective and safe. Assist with the modernisation and redesign of the CAMHs services, leading on agreed projects. Develop robust interagency relationships with, Children, Young People and Families services, and other key agencies, supporting the development of integrated care pathways and locality working. Ensure Young People and Carers are included in all the work we do and structures are developed to incorporate users at all levels

Qualifications
Essential criteria
Allied Health Professional, Mental Health Nursing or Social care qualification OR Low intensity qualification with CYP (including EEBP,CWP,EMHP) with maintenance of required professional registration where required Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable criteria
Management qualification/Leadership Training Professional knowledge acquired through degree/diploma Low intensity Supervision qualification
Knowledge skills and ability
Essential criteria
Knowledge of child safeguarding procedures and how these can be applied to a CAMHS setting. Ability to manage, supervise and appraise clinical and administrative staff Able to function as part of multi-disciplinary team and liaise with external agencies i.e. primary care, education, social and health care.
Desirable criteria
Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems including Excel

Essential criteria
Experience in people management within a Child and Adolescent Mental health service or Adult Mental Health service Post qualification experience in a mental health setting, working with young people or adults with mental illness. Experience of mentoring and clinical supervision of others
Desirable criteria
