Job Title: Disability Support Specialist

We are currently working with a leading authority in the Gloucestershire area, where they are looking for an experienced disability professional to support families and communities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a first-class service to ensure the best outcomes for disabled children and young people of Gloucestershire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing service which boasts a permanent and stable management team, committed to driving forward improvement and outcomes for disabled children and young people. Through building positive relationships with colleagues within the service and partner agencies, you will make sure we are able to provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.

The salary range for this position is between £39,513 - £45,718 per annum, subject to experience. In addition to the competitive salary, the role also offers a welcome payment of £4,000, annual retention payment of £2,000, up to £8,000 relocation package, flexible and agile working opportunities, and 25.5 days annual leave rising to 30.5 days after 5 years continuous service.

Requirements:
  • Be registered with Social Work England
  • Have a recognised qualification in Social Work
  • Have completed your ASYE year (if you qualified after 2012)
  • Holding a full driving licence and willingness to drive
  • Possess DBS clearance
