Role Overview:

At Ivy Resource Group, we are seeking a dedicated Special Education Support Specialist to join our vibrant KS4 team at an Alternative Education school in Gloucester. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young learners with special educational needs and disabilities.

About the Position:
This full-time, long-term position offers a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day. As a Learning Support Associate, you will work closely with class teachers to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include providing tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities, assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs), and fostering positive relationships with students.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience working with children with SEND or alternative provisions. A proactive and patient approach to working with young learners, along with strong communication and teamwork skills, are essential.
