Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert advice on HR policies and procedures to management and staff across the trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational service in all advisory aspects of human resource management to Trust-wide Directorates and Departments.
  • Advise on the practical application of HR policies and procedures, ensuring these are legally compliant and fit for need.
  • Support managers in reviewing HR policies, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of the trust.
  • Deliver training to line managers on day-to-day HR issues, enabling them to act confidently and consistently in line with policies and best practice.
  • Provide guidance on employment legislation, equal opportunities, and diversity issues.
  • Analyse sickness, exit interview data, and reports to identify trends and develop strategies to improve workforce engagement and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Evidence of Level 5 Intermediate CIPD Qualification or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in managing basic Human Resources issues, including sickness absence management, capability management, equality & diversity, disciplinary management, and grievances.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and presentation skills, including the ability to write and present quality reports for a range of audiences on a regular basis.
