Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Social Services Coordinator to join our team, responsible for coordinating the delivery of social services to children and families. This will involve working closely with social workers, other professionals, and family members to ensure effective support and intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the delivery of social services, including assessments, planning, and interventions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, carers, and community leaders.
- Provide administrative support to social workers, including maintaining accurate records and preparing reports.
- Attend meetings and workshops as required, representing the organization and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation, policies, and procedures affecting social services.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will require a degree in Social Work or a related field, registration with the SWE register, and relevant experience working with children and families. A completed ASYE programme and knowledge of systemic models such as Signs of Safety are highly desirable.
Skills and Knowledge:
This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals. You should also possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of child protection legislation and frameworks is essential, as is computer literacy and the ability to use electronic recording systems.
