About the Opportunity:
">Cygnet Hospital Wyke provides a comprehensive pathway of acute admissions services for men. We are looking for a confident, compassionate, and committed Social Worker to join our team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on patients' lives while progressing your career as a valuable member of a supportive team. You will have the chance to work with a national network of high-quality specialist mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work in partnership with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to assist with the recovery process
- Forge links and maintain contact with other statutory agencies
- Lead on the social care needs of service users
- Ensure that service users and their families/carers are aware of their legal rights
- Take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team
- Provide written reports to the multidisciplinary team and other professionals
What We Offer:
">A competitive salary of £35,000-£45,000 per year (dependent on location), plus a range of benefits, including monthly reflective practice, expert supervision, peer support, and employee discount savings.
Our ideal candidate will be a Registered Social Worker with Social Work England, holding a relevant Social Work qualification, and experience in working within a mental health setting or a passion for working in this field.
