Professional Mental Health Social Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Hospital Wyke. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality social care services.
**Job Overview**- This is a 9-month fixed-term contract, working 40 hours per week.
- You will be responsible for assisting the recovery process of our service users, forging links with statutory agencies, and leading on social care needs.
- Work in partnership with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other statutory agencies to enhance service user outcomes.
- Lead on the social care needs of service users, ensuring they receive tailored support.
- Ensure service users and their families/carers are aware of their legal rights and options.
- Contribute to safeguarding efforts within the multidisciplinary team.
- Prepare written reports for the multidisciplinary team and other professionals.
- A Registered Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- A relevant Social Work qualification.
- Experience working within a mental health setting or a passion for this field.
- Familiarity with safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality issues, and equality & diversity principles.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Skilled in report writing with excellent literacy skills and attention to detail.
