Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Child and Adolescent Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust.

Salary Information

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, reflecting the skills and qualifications required for this role.

Job Responsibilities

This is a permanent position that involves working as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to children and young people with mental health needs across Medway. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing senior medical support and guidance to the team.
  2. Working directly with young people and their families and liaising as appropriate with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
  3. Participating in the on-call rota with a frequency of 1:14, and receiving a Category A on-call supplement of 3% of basic salary.
  4. Supporting peers and the team leader, while also allowing them to work independently.
  5. Collaborating with another CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist.
  6. Engaging in collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
