Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior medical support and guidance to the team, working directly with young people and their families, and liaising with other external CAMHS mental health providers and acute hospitals.
This is a substantive position with a frequency of 1:14 on-call rota, offering a competitive salary of £143,052 - £172,501 per annum, plus a 3% Category A on-call supplement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To have a strong understanding of current developments in mental health care.
- To be innovative, motivated, and passionate about Child and Adolescent mental health care.
- To demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
- CCT or equivalent.
- Section 12 Approval or eligibility for it.
- Approved Clinician status, or eligibility for it.
- Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
This post requires a Full GMC registration with a licence to practice and adherence to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
