Job Title: CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner for GP

We are seeking an experienced CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to patients in our community.

Job Summary:

The CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions in children and adolescents. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and providing education and support to patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote mental health and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or nursing.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents with mental health conditions.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
