Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Rapid Response team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality mental health assessments and delivering short-term interventions to young people in crisis.

You will work closely with CAMHS services, local authorities, and educational partners to provide comprehensive support to patients and their families. Your expertise in mental health and complex needs will enable you to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop care plans for young people in crisis
  • Deliver short-term interventions and provide ongoing support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with CAMHS services, local authorities, and educational partners to ensure comprehensive support
  • Develop and implement effective risk management plans to ensure patient safety
  • Provide supervision and leadership to other team members

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or equivalent qualification
  • Significant post-qualifying experience of working with young people in crisis
  • Expertise in mental health and complex needs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
