Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAMHS Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide high-quality mental health services to patients in a GP setting
  • To work collaboratively with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and patients to deliver effective care
  • To assess and manage patients with complex mental health needs
  • To develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • To provide education and support to patients, families, and carers
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services in the GP setting
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a CAMHS setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies
  • Ability to work with patients with complex mental health needs
