Job Title: Admissions Team Leader

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Admissions Team Leader to join our team at Spire Healthcare Group plc. As a key member of our Patient Support Centre, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of all stages of the booking process, including admissions and pre-op assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of multi-skilled administrators to drive operational performance and deliver high standards of customer service.
  • Manage the admissions admin team, including sickness, annual leave, and underperformance management.
  • Ensure all administrators have regular 1-2-1s and feedback sessions, with clear goals and expectations.
  • Monitor and improve call handling times, ensuring all calls are answered in a timely manner.
  • Plan workforce schedules to meet activity demands and manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Process KPIs weekly and identify areas for improvement to enhance scores.
  • Provide data and insights to the Patient Admissions Manager, Director of Shared Services, and other stakeholders as required.
  • Deputize for the Patient Admissions Manager in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within the NHS or Pre-Assessment is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to continuously improve processes and performance, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional Saturdays, and commit to full-time induction for a minimum of 2 weeks.
