**Trailer Sales Manager Role at Montracon**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Professional to join our successful sales team at Montracon, a leading manufacturer of trailers in the UK. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fleet sales and a strong understanding of the commercial fleet sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Coordinate Sales Activities**: Ensure the business meets its sales targets and objectives by coordinating sales activities within the area of responsibility.
  • **Manage Sales Function**: Develop and manage the sales function within the area of responsibility, ensuring client relationships are maintained at the highest levels.
  • **Sales Pipeline Management**: Demonstrate a good sales pipeline to the Senior Management team and ensure timely follow-up on sales leads.
  • **Technical Support**: Provide technical support and guidance to clients on trailer specifications and sales.
  • **Client Liaison**: Liaise with clients on a daily basis to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  • **Sales Lifecycle Management**: Secure customer commitment in specifying Montracon's products and services, and manage the complete sales lifecycle.
  • **Customer Support**: Provide first-class end-to-end customer support, from enquiry through to installation and operation of products and services packages.
  • **Market Intelligence**: Gather market intelligence from customers to influence and improve Montracon's sales strategy.
  • **Sales Database Management**: Ensure the customer database is maintained at all times.
  • **Sales Growth**: Maintain and increase sales of Montracon's products.
  • **Target Achievement**: Achieve targets and goals set for the area.
  • **Customer Acquisition**: Establish, maintain, and expand the customer base, identifying new accounts and servicing existing customers.
  • **Business Development**: Increase business opportunities through various routes to market.
  • **Marketing Support**: Support the development and implementation of marketing material and events.
  • **Regional Sales Operations**: Achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • **Continuous Improvement**: Prepare and complete action plans, implementing customer-service standards, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining regional sales system improvements, and implementing change.
Requirements:
  • **Sales Experience**: A sales professional with a proven track record and knowledge of fleet operators.
  • **Fleet Sales Background**: A background within a fleet sales role is preferred.
  • **Technical Knowledge**: Vehicle technical knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
  • **Commercial Fleet Sector**: A technical understanding or appreciation of the commercial fleet sector is highly desirable.
  • **Communication Skills**: A strong communicator with the ability to effectively build and maintain business relationships at all levels.
  • **Business Development**: Pro-active in identifying and generating new business opportunities against sales and profitability targets.
