We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at KDI Knickerbocker Dialysis, Inc. as a Nurse in our Outpatient Dialysis department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting, working closely with patients and their families to deliver empathetic and compassionate care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging your expertise in nursing to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct patient observations, measure vital signs, and set up dialysis equipment, working closely with Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical goals and objectives, driving excellence in patient care and outcomes.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N), or three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) settings is highly desirable, but not required.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
