The Partnerships and Indirect line of business at Global Payments is on an exciting trajectory, with brand new technology solutions driving growth. We're now looking for exceptional Sales professionals to spearhead the sales efforts for our Payment Facilitator and Marketplace solution aimed at the UK Independent Software Vendor (ISV) market.

We offer comprehensive support to help you develop your skills every step of the way, focusing on ambitious solution-led sales managers who have previously sold payment technology for 7+ years, possess sufficient technical understanding of payment integration, and hold a strong industry network.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be one of the first individuals to win PF & Marketplace business for Global Payments, with significant opportunities on the horizon to be won.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver new business revenue targets and KPI objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive 'go-to-market' sales strategy, taking ownership of all new business opportunities across the GP Payment Facilitator & Marketplace solution.
  • Identify industry vertical markets and their top SaaS & ISV vendors through prospecting and utilizing existing networks.
  • Build deep, long-term Win-Win partnerships by developing an extensive understanding of partners' businesses, driving new innovative propositions, and delivering long-term revenue streams.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise with a genuine passion for specified vertical(s), maintaining an excellent knowledge of platforms, solution providers, distributors, and aggregation points.
  • Lead full engagement for new business from lead identification to live.
  • Cultivate warm referrals and develop relationships with global colleagues across the US, Canada, and Australia to collaborate and win new business.
  • Understand and articulate Global Payments' eCommerce, Digital, and Card Present payment solutions, using consultative selling to develop skills to displace market competition.
  • Represent Global Payments at industry events, become a brand ambassador, and maintain a solid public profile.

About You

To succeed in this role, we're looking for an experienced sales individual with 7+ years of payments, strategic partnerships, business development, and commercial sales experience. You should have demonstrable experience and a history of achieving annual revenue goals through direct merchant sales or partnerships. Motivation to prospect and hunt, alongside receiving inbound leads, is essential. Proven self-starter with high energy and a target-oriented work ethic. Strong articulation of the market's payment landscape, including trends, competition, growth areas, technologies, opportunities, and overall in-depth knowledge of payment solutions are also required. Proactive, energetic, tenacious, accountable, and passionate, with exceptional written and oral communication skills. A role model with a strong industry reputation and excellent payment network.
