The RoleWe're seeking an exceptional Chief Sales and Partnerships Officer to join our London hub and lead the development and execution of a strategic sales plan to secure new business and expand existing partnerships. This role is focused on local and global opportunities in working with verticalized SaaS, business platform, and CRM clients.
You will own it by:
- Developing a deep understanding of the payment market dynamics in the United Kingdom and across Europe, identifying commercial prospects and building an efficient pipeline in line with Worldpay's global strategies.
- Creating impactful sales presentations and leading the ideation, negotiation, and closing of partnership agreements that deliver real value and profitability to all sides of the partnership.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders within the payments industry across both commercial and software disciplines.
You'll have the opportunity to work with our creative and marketing teams to develop industry-leading sales materials and oversee the creation of insight-rich documentation for engaged partners and merchants.
Your BackgroundTo be successful in this role, you'll need a minimum of 6 years' experience in solution-focused business and partnership development in a B2B environment. You'll also require strong management, organizational, team-building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
You should have a bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Additionally, you'll need general knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology, including systems, applications, and banking practices.
The PackageWe offer a competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as time to support charities and give back to your community, parental leave policy, and a global employee assistance program.
