Marine Surveyor Assistant

Spectrum Geosurvey is looking for a highly skilled Marine Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Lymington. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for hydrographic data processing, generating client deliverables, and survey report writing. You will work closely with our experienced surveyors to develop your skill set and contribute to the following tasks:
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for conducting bathymetric processing, reporting preparation, hydrographic chart creation, seabed contact identification, and data quality control. A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, a working knowledge of hydrographic systems, and excellent communication skills are essential requirements.
Requirements- A degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Hydrography, Marine Geography, Marine Sciences or a related field
- A working knowledge of hydrographic multibeam systems, motion reference units, side scan sonar and magnetometer systems
- An ability to work both independently and as a team, have a can-do attitude and a strong verbal communication skillset
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, 33 days of annual leave, pension matching, flexible working hours, continuous training and development opportunities, and a modern office environment.
