We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geophysicist to join our team at Spectrum. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading field teams, acquiring geophysical data, and assisting in data processing and interpretation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology and/or geophysics, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality hydrographic and geophysical survey data. They will also have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead offshore surveys in the field, ensuring effective communication with the office on operational data QC matters.
  • Project manage survey projects where necessary, coordinating with clients and stakeholders to deliver results.
  • Assist in leading data acquisition, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the quality and consistency of field data.

**Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Geology, Geophysics, or other related marine or earth science.
  • At least 3 years' experience working onboard vessels undertaking marine survey operations.
  • Strong academic report writing skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively.

**Salary:** £55,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
