Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join our Kent Wheelchair Service team as a specialist in wheelchair assessment and management.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician with expertise in prescribing manual and powered wheelchairs, along with posture management and pressure management accessories.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and strong communication skills to engage with service users and stakeholders.

This role involves conducting assessments of adults and children with complex needs, collaborating with clinical and operational colleagues to deliver exceptional service performance, and engaging with local voluntary and statutory services to facilitate joint working.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to provide support for internal and external training programmes, conduct risk assessments, and manage risks related to equipment provision, safeguarding, moving and handling, infection control, and other areas.

Salary: £48,116 per annum + benefits.
