£48,116 - £55,061 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits.
About the Job:
We are looking for a highly skilled Clinical Technologist to join our team in the Kent Wheelchair Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and prescribing mobility equipment for adults and children with complex needs.
The role involves:
- Technical elements of assessment, prescription, and handover of mobility equipment
- Supervising junior staff and providing guidance to colleagues
- Liaising with service users and stakeholders to improve outcomes
- Providing support for internal and external training programs
- Undertaking risk assessments and risk management
What You Need:
- Registration as a Clinical Technologist or with the HCPC as a Clinical Scientist
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills
- Analytical, engineering, and practical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in digital systems and software
