About the Role:
We seek a highly skilled Wheelchair Prescription and Assessment Professional to join our Kent Wheelchair Service team. As a key member of our team, you will assess and prescribe mobility equipment to meet individual needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and prescribing mobility equipment to meet individual needs
- Supervising junior staff and providing guidance to colleagues
- Liaising with service users and stakeholders to improve outcomes
- Providing support for internal and external training programs
- Undertaking risk assessments and risk management
Key Requirements:
- Registration as a Clinical Technologist or with the HCPC as a Clinical Scientist
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills
- Analytical, engineering, and practical problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in digital systems and software
