About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our customers.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position starts from £12.44 an hour, with opportunities for increases up to £13.57 per hour for stores located inside the M25. You will also receive a range of benefits, including 20 days' annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and access to our colleague networks.

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Dispenser, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the operation of one of our modern pharmacies
  • Dispensing prescription medicines accurately and efficiently
  • Talking to customers and offering information in a confident and professional manner
  • Advising customers on common ailments and products
  • Supporting and delivering pharmacy services according to Standard Operating Procedures

You will work closely with experienced pharmacists and managers to provide excellent patient care and support our communities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience or qualifications gained from working in a pharmacy environment
  • A desire to train and develop into the pharmacy field
