Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Engineering Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Rosscare in Ashford. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing wheelchairs in our workshop, ensuring they are returned to customers in good working order.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and be able to work independently. They will also collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to develop and implement new procedures and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair wheelchairs in accordance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Service Centre Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Develop and implement new procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Participate in regular stocktakes to assist with inventory management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Full Driving Licence (not essential).
  • Ideally qualified to GCSE level/NVQ level 1 or equivalent.
  • Satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.

Salary Range: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
