The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Consultant to join our team. As a result of our continued success, we are expanding our Insurance Directorate and are looking for individuals with a background in change or operations, with aspirations to become a recognised industry expert and move into a senior consulting role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of activities, including providing strategic business advice, go-to market strategies, production of operating models, and evaluations of digital transformation solutions.
  • Receive in-depth training in business and technology architecture techniques, as well as becoming immersed in the Altus Consulting tools and methodology.
  • Develop skills in areas such as consulting sales cycle, thought leadership, and marketing.
  • Work closely with clients to deliver business or technology solutions that make a genuine difference to clients and society.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience working within change or operations teams, with 5+ years in the insurance sector.
  • Hands-on business change and/or business architecture experience.
  • Ability to take responsibility for and lead the analysis and design of strategic business solutions.
  • Extremely thorough, inquisitive, and hard-working behaviours.
  • A genuine desire to improve outcomes for clients and consumers.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, able to confidently converse with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of building strong business relationships.
  • Innovative and with a strong ability to articulate ideas, bringing them to life visually and presenting them to clients and stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of IT fundamentals and different categories of FS systems.
  • Genuine passion and enthusiasm to make a difference for Altus.
  • A willingness to travel within the UK and globally, and undertake varying roles at clients.
