About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished sales professional to join our team at Salt as an Executive Sales Director. This is an executive-level opportunity to manage one of our biggest clients in the Travel and Transportation sector while growing the wider business.

As an Executive Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, including one of the largest accounts in the sector, as well as exploring new opportunities for growth. Key objectives include building client trust, devising account strategies, driving sales, and overseeing the operations and performance of the account P&L.

You will play a crucial role in supporting our go-to-market strategy and enhancing competitive differentiation to achieve growth plans. A clear ambition to be recognized as a high-performer and future leader in the business is expected.

The ideal candidate will be able to pull together proper strategic solutions with technology as a key enabler, deliver the strategic vision, and have an understanding/previous experience in the Travel and Transportation market. Key attributes include:

  • Strong sales experience with exposure to sizable deals £10million+.
  • A proven track record of building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Industry insights on the role of digital, strategic advisory partners, and potential to exploit next-generation digital solutions.
  • Experience in managing sales targets, disciplined account forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Capacity to operate independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Expertise in opportunity qualification, bid management disciplines, controls, and winning sales plans.
