The Roseate Edinburgh Ltd is seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join their team. This role will be based in The Roseate Edinburgh, Scotland, and will involve identifying new contacts, developing sales leads, and responding to sales opportunities to maximise revenue.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Hotel / Meetings & Events or Sales roles, with exceptional knowledge of the Edinburgh Market. They will be proactive, with strong sales and negotiation skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new contacts and develop sales leads to maximise revenue
  • Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other intermediaries
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts to support sales efforts
  • Assist with the Request for Pricing (RFP), negotiation, and contracting process
  • Arrange and carry out Hotel show rounds and FAM Trips and attend trade shows when required
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to ensure the hotel remains competitive and attractive to customers
  • Collaborate with the hotel's Operations and Reservations teams to ensure a seamless and successful experience for clients and groups
  • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Regional Sales Manager and Senior Management

We are looking for:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Hotel / Meetings & Events or Sales roles
  • Exceptional knowledge of the Edinburgh Market
  • Pro-active attitude, strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for sales and industry events
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills
