About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Neurology team as a Customer Service Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to gain administrative experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Neurology team, including requesting and tracing notes, filing, and distributing documents.
  • Manage telephone calls from patients, GPs, and other agencies, using initiative and adhering to Trust guidelines.
  • Open and distribute post within the department, and ensure notes are available for forthcoming clinics.
  • Transcribe letters from Big Hand printing and file them in notes once approved.
  • Perform general administration and support tasks, including booking and prepping of clinics.
Person Specification
  • Computer literate and able to work with various software applications.
  • Demonstrable experience working with people and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate fluency, clarity, and effectiveness at all levels.
  • Good time management skills and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development, and a positive attitude.
