The Role: Linux Desktop Support Associate

We are seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Linux Desktop Support Associate. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure and providing exceptional technical support to our employees and customers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical support to internal users, resolving issues related to Linux desktop environments, software applications, and hardware configurations.
  • Onboard new employees by providing technical guidance and training on our Linux-based systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex technical problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and known issues.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our internal knowledge base and support resources.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of desktop Linux environments and common applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical users.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality support.
