Coding Auditor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Coding Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine coding quality reviews on all coders, including third-party suppliers as appropriate.

Responsibilities:

">
  1. Perform coding quality reviews in collaboration with or for internal customers of the organization.
  2. Abstract data elements into the coding and abstracting system.
  3. Evaluate health record documentation to identify procedures and services for accurate code assignment.

Requirements:

">
  1. 5 years of experience in coding with at least 1 year as a coding auditor.
  2. Registration or certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC, CIC, or CIRCC.
