About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director to lead our Community Child Health services, providing strategic direction and operational leadership. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in professional leadership and significant experience in developing and implementing clinical strategies.

This is a key role within the organization, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients and families. The ideal candidate will be able to model a culture consistent with Trust values, embed innovation and quality improvement initiatives, and develop sustainable workforce plans.

As a member of the senior leadership team, you will contribute to the development of strategic objectives, provide expert advice on clinical governance, and ensure compliance with internal and external governance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide operational leadership to teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality care
  • Model a culture consistent with Trust values, embedding innovation and quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external governance procedures

Requirements:

  • Masters or post-graduate qualification in relevant field
  • Evidence of significant experience in professional leadership and clinical strategy development

Salary Range: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
