About the Job

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to make a real difference in the lives of patients with severe mental illness. As a key member of the South Kent Coastal Community Mental Health Team, you will work closely with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality clinical pharmacy services.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing expert advice on medication management to patients and healthcare professionals.
  2. Facilitating pharmacy-led clinics and reviews to support patients in managing their medications.
  3. Developing and implementing quality improvement projects to enhance patient care.
  4. Working collaboratively with other pharmacists and healthcare professionals to achieve shared goals.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualification in pharmacy.
  • Non-medical prescribing qualification.
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Salary and Working Arrangements

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer flexible working arrangements, including part-time and job share options, to support work-life balance.
