About the Role

European Tech Recruit, a specialist construction cost engineering practice with expertise in civil engineering and infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Customer Success Manager to lead our team of 4.

This dynamic role plays a pivotal part in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth. You will oversee both pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring seamless customer experiences and maximizing the value of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture that prioritizes effective communication, knowledge sharing, and individual development.
  • Oversee team performance, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
  • Implement robust people management processes and procedures, including leave management, attendance tracking, and regular team communication.
Pre-Sales Activities:
  • Partner closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, develop tailored solution proposals, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales process.
  • Lead pre-sales activities, including data setup, demonstration delivery, and technical advisory services.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to stay updated on product developments, customer feedback, and competitive insights.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize pre-sales processes, tools, and resources to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
Implementation and Delivery:
  • Develop comprehensive implementation plans, covering discovery, development, testing, and training phases.
  • Own the delivery of assigned projects, ensuring timely and budget-adherent execution.
  • Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including design documents, test plans, and training strategies.
  • Lead customer escalations to swift and effective resolution.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, including contributing to account management activities.
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve high performance and career growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and sales, to drive business outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in customer success management, ideally with team leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members, but also resolve conflicts and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for customer satisfaction and a drive to exceed expectations.

The estimated salary for this position is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
