iPeople Solutions is recruiting for a School Attendance and Wellbeing Specialist to join our team in the Haringey and North London area.

The successful post holder will be responsible for managing the Attendance and Welfare Service, including Elective Home Education and budget planning. They will work closely with school management teams to improve their approach and performance in relation to school attendance.

We are seeking an individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills who can provide information, advice, and support to Members, Officers of the Council, Headteachers, school staff, and the public on issues related to pupil attendance and welfare. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing budgets and leading teams.

Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum

This is a full-time position working 35 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary package, including annual leave entitlement and pension scheme.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Management experience, including working with schools
  • Experience of working as an education welfare officer
  • Managing staff, performance management, and service delivery
  • Budget planning and monitoring
  • Working within child protection procedures
  • Interpreting and implementing statutory regulations, including legal procedures
