School Attendance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced School Attendance Specialist to join our team at a well-established Secondary school in Greenwich, SE18. The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong administration skills and the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a wider team.

About the Role:

\

The School Attendance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and analysing whole school attendance and punctuality as well as attendance of specific cohorts and student groups. This will involve working proactively with students and parents to address any attendance issues and provide support where necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and analysing attendance data to identify trends and areas for improvement\
  • Working with teachers and other school staff to develop strategies to improve attendance\
  • Providing support and guidance to students and parents on attendance-related issues\
  • Collaborating with other schools and external agencies to share best practice and expertise\

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
  • Knowledge of attendance management systems and practices\
  • Experience of working with students and parents\

Salary: £17.80 - £20.00 per hour
