Job Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Disability and Welfare Consultant to join our team on a 3-6 months contract in Tower Hamlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide expert advice and support to schools on attendance-related matters, including developing and implementing attendance policies.
  2. To work closely with local authorities and other stakeholders to promote good attendance practices and improve pupil wellbeing.
  3. To analyze attendance data and provide actionable insights to inform policy development and improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in attendance and welfare-related fields, with a focus on improving attendance rates and promoting pupil wellbeing.
  • Strong knowledge of education systems, legislation, and guidance related to attendance and child wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with schools, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

Compensation Package:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £28 per hour, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting schools and pupils in the Tower Hamlets area.
