About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic and well-established Psychology Department at Priory Group. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological services to our patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of psychological services, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice guidelines.
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to junior psychologists, promoting their professional development and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of training programs for staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
  • Experience of working in a forensic mental health setting, preferably with women.
  • Specialist training in psychological models for trauma, such as CBT for trauma or EMDR.
  • Ability to apply psychological knowledge to a psychiatric setting, adopting a systemic approach and responding flexibly to treatment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
