Merco Medical Staffing Limited is seeking a qualified Forensic, Clinical, or Counselling Psychologist to join our esteemed team at a specialized hospital. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced psychologists to enhance their professional development in a supportive environment.

The facility provides a medium-secure care environment where patients benefit from a comprehensive range of therapeutic interventions, including individual and group psychological therapies. Our commitment to patient recovery has yielded outstanding results, facilitating safe transitions to lower-security conditions and community settings.

Currently, the hospital accommodates up to 88 male and female patients with diverse diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and personality disorders. This varied patient demographic creates a dynamic and enriching workplace, allowing for the development of a wide array of clinical skills and specializations.

Key Attributes of the Ideal Candidate:

  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to forensic, clinical, or counselling psychology.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Full registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with complex cases, preferably in secure settings, along with supervisory experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
