About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Shire Healthcare. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to adult service users within our medium secure service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop treatment plans for service users
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT, DBT, CAT Therapy, EMDR, and compassion-focussed therapy
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide leadership, consultation, and therapeutic interventions
  • Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of psychological interventions and services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of trauma-informed care and treatment approaches
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist
  • Post-qualification experience working within secure services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
