Job Summary

Shire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in a medium secure service in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, consultation, assessments, and therapeutic interventions for adult service users across medium secure wards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement trauma-informed care and treatment approaches
  • Deliver CBT, DBT, CAT Therapy, EMDR, and compassion-focussed therapy on a 121 or group basis
  • Work with a variety of presentations, including ASD, learning disabilities, and personality disorders
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and treatment
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist
  • Post-experience working within secure services
  • Strong leadership and consultation skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of presentations and develop trauma-informed care approaches
