We require an experienced SENDCo to join our school on a part-time basis. As a key member of our staff, you will support the development of our SEND provision.

About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A National SENCo award or prior experience as SENDCO in a primary setting.
  • An excellent understanding of how to secure progress and improve outcomes for all pupils.
  • Experience planning and delivering provision for a wide range of specific needs.

The role involves:

  • Liaising with class teachers to understand how to best support children with additional needs on EHCP plans.
  • Maintaining accurate progress records and up-to-date paperwork.
  • Communicating with external agencies to arrange review meetings and discuss pupil progress.

This is a 3-day per week role, commencing as soon as possible, until at least April 2025. The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
