SEND Coordinator (SENDCo)

This part-time SENDCo role at Philosophy Education is an opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all pupils receive support and guidance, collaborating with teachers and staff to develop Personal Learning Plans and Education, Health and Care Plans.

Key Responsibilities include:
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum.

  • Manage the school's SEND record
  • Support parents' involvement in their child's learning through regular updates and reviews.
  • Liaise with outside agencies for pupil support
  • Provide specialist support for teachers and staff
  • Collaborate with class teachers on Personal Learning Plans (PLP) for individual pupils.
  • Develop Education, Health and Care Plans
  • Organize staff training to meet pupil needs
  • Lead SEND Intervention groups
