About the Role

Cygnet, a leading provider of specialist mental health services, seeks an experienced professional to join our team as a Family Support Specialist. This exciting opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional care and support to service users.

In this role, you will work in partnership with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to assist with the recovery process. You will also forge links and maintain contact with other statutory agencies, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

A strong background in social work, mental health, or a related field is essential. Your expertise in safeguarding, health & safety, data protection, confidentiality issues, and equality & diversity will be invaluable in this position.

As a Family Support Specialist, you will lead on the social care needs of service users, ensuring they are aware of their legal rights. You will take an active role in safeguarding within the multidisciplinary team and provide written reports to professionals.

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
