Job Title: Primary Care Mental Health Specialist

North Halifax Primary Care Network is an established network serving over 38,000 patients across West Yorkshire. We are seeking a Primary Care Mental Health Specialist to enhance our expanding multidisciplinary Personalised Care Team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work alongside a team of experienced professionals to improve the mental health services we provide to our patients. You will be responsible for working autonomously and collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a range of mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with mental health conditions
  • Develop and implement effective management plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Collaborate with GPs, ACPs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous record keeping
Requirements:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Primary Care Mental Health Specialist who possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should have a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
