Job Overview
Calderdale Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As an Advanced Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our community.
Main Responsibilities
You will work closely with our newly-formed AMHP HUB to provide expert advice and guidance on mental health assessments, advice, and associated work. Your experience and skills will enable you to work autonomously, considering the use of the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended 2007), and provide advice to families and professional referrers.
About the Role
You will be part of a supportive team that offers ongoing guidance and supervision. You will receive a structured induction, regular supervision, and access to training and development opportunities. A full driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
