Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Beckly House in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled individual to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviors. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you can develop your skills and knowledge in delivering outstanding healthcare. You will be working full-time, 42 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts, days only, including every other weekend. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for delivering enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care. You will provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support, learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way, assist with and report on medical and welfare needs, safeguard, and maintain a safe, clean environment for all. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that individuals receive the best possible care and support. You will be passionate about empowering and supporting service user independence and have the ability to learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way. You will also be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
