Job Summary:

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Counter Manager to lead and develop our team of Sales Advisors in achieving sales, customer service, and operational targets.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational leader to be the Chief Executive Officer of their own store/counter, creating and executing an agile business plan to recruit and retain customers through strategic targeting, impactful in-store events, and exceptional customer relationship management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing a team to succeed, with experience in setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling.

They will also have previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management, and cash reconciliation.

As a Counter Manager, you will be responsible for creating and executing in-store events, and will have flexible availability across days/hours.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with proof of right to live and work in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a team of Sales Advisors to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets.
  • Create and execute an agile business plan to recruit and retain customers.
  • Develop and implement sales and customer service strategies.
  • Manage inventory and facilities, and perform cash reconciliation.
  • Organize and execute in-store events.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail management/assistant retail management experience preferably within beauty or a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Experience setting sales and customer service targets, sales analysis, and staff scheduling.
  • Previous retail operations experience, including inventory and facilities management, and cash reconciliation.
  • Proven track record of leading, coaching, and developing a team to succeed.
  • Experience of creating and executing in-store events.
  • Flexible availability across days/hours.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proof of right to live and work in the country.
