Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Residential Care Team Lead to join our team at RRS National. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our new two-bedded home in Nottingham, catering to children with learning disabilities.

About You:

  • A minimum of 1+ year's experience working with children who have learning disabilities.
  • Previous experience as a Deputy/Registered Manager in children's residential care, ideally within the last 5 years.
  • Possession of a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification (in progress).
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, leadership skills, effective communication, and organizational abilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a dedicated care team, focusing on recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans that prioritize safety, well-being, and growth for each child.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high-quality care services.
  • Establish effective relationships with local authorities, agencies, and external partners.
  • Maintain robust safeguarding practices and ensure the well-being of all residents.

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 32 days annual leave (including 8 bank holidays) and on-call payments for additional nights worked.
